Reginald H FLETCHER

Reginald Fletcher was born in Spanish Town in 1873. He was educated at both Mary Villa College and the Collegiate School. He started working in the Post Office in 1890, ending up as Post Master General from 1925; he retired in 1938.
He was a JP and was involved with the administration of the YMCA, Boy Scouts and the Jamaica Cricket Board. He was a prominent Methodist.

He died of typhoid fever on October 4, 1912, in St Mary where he was the very popular District Medical Officer. His funeral took place at the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Kingston.
Ellis WOLFE
The late Mr. Wolfe entered the Railway service on the 1st of August 1880 and the Public Service in 1887, where he served in various departments. He was appointed Chief Clerk in the Post Office Department on the 1st August 1909, and succeeded the late Hon. J. B. Lucie-Smith as Postmaster for Jamaica.

Mr Wolfe was a nominated member of the Legislative Council, and a member of the Board of Management of the Government Savings Bank.
